There’s a lot of other mattress brands out there, but we don’t lose our cool – we gain it. We’re incredibly proud to announce that eve has been selected as the first and only mattress brand to feature amongst the pages of CoolBrands 2016/17. A list of panelist including Michelle Ogundehin – Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decoration, actress and fashion designer – Sadie Frost, and Singer-Songwriter Labrinth, selected eve to feature alongside brands such as Mercedes – Benz, Apple, Sony Music and Alexander McQueen to name but a few.
CoolBrands is an annual survey to identify and celebrate the UK’s coolest brands. Since 2001 the survey has been canvassing the views of influencers and consumers to produce an annual barometer. This year’s survey sought the opinion of 36 independent influencers and 2,500 British consumers. The results are published every September and a selection of the country’s coolest brands are featured in a luxurious, hardback format book. Visit CoolBrands.uk.com for more details on how to get your hands on a copy of your own.
The opinions of the Expert Council and the British public were combined and the best performing brands awarded CoolBrands status.
Cool is subjective and personal. Accordingly, neither set of voters were given a definition but were asked to bear in mind the following factors, which research has shown are inherent in a CoolBrand: Authenticity, Desirability, Innovation and Originality.
Here’s what CoolBrands council Chairman Steve Cheliotis had to say about eve…
“This disruptive, challenger brand has sprung up almost overnight and like so many CoolBrands has brought a fresh approach and modern aesthetic to its market, together with a more accessible product that most certainly does not compromise on quality. The brand proves that simplicity can be best, its singular proposition is clear and compelling, while its product innovative and original. As the first mattress only brand to attain CoolBrands status, it’s now officially possible to stay cool while sleeping”.
