Feeling weary after December’s festivities? We have just the ticket to get your routine back on track. From Monday 29th January – Friday 2nd February, we’re hosting an exciting five-day takeover at the De Montfort Suite, Town Hall Hotel and Apartments, Bethnal Green, to celebrate all things sleep. Jam-packed with morning and evening talks, panel discussions and workshops, there’s an event for every sleep-curious Londoner.
Because we know sleep is intrinsically linked to nearly all aspects of life, the five-day Sleep Suite will explore everything from fitness and nutrition, to travel and emotional intelligence. We’ve also rounded-up go-to industry experts, brands and creatives who will share their essential advice and tips for improving sleep.
The event lowdown
Want to know how food affects slumber? Cookbook author and magazine lifestyle director, Pip McCormac, will be on hand to give you advice for nutrition and sleep needs. Find your morning get-up-and-go in a Fat Buddha Yoga class with Jessica Skye, or learn how to cope with travel and sleep woes (goodbye, jet lag) with writer, travel expert and founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith, Juliet Kinsman.
Coffee fiends can learn about the perfect morning pick-me-up from Allpress – the coffee roasters and espresso specialists; whilst interiors writer and journalist Bethan Ryder hosts a talk detailing how to prep your room for the perfect sleep. Add in parenting events, a wallpaper workshop, A Dream and Philosophy Slam with The School of Life, and we’ve got every sleep eventuality covered.
Christine Hansen, holistic sleep expert and author of Sleep Like a Boss, will be on hand to provide a one-to-one sleep consultation room service for guests, as well as impart her wisdom in several of our panel discussions.
The Town Hall hotel will also add an eve ‘perfect start’ brunch to the Corner Room restaurant menu, and a sleep-inducing cocktail at the hotel bar.
To complete the celebration of sleep, we’ll open a pop-up shop from 10am-2pm for you to browse a range of eve products. The perfect start to your new year.
