There’s a new trend sweeping across workspaces all over the world and we think you’re going to like it…
Did you know that you’re more productive after a great night’s sleep? Of course you do! But what you may not know is that taking a midday nap has proven to boost productivity too! What has before been viewed as a habit of the lazy and un-motivated is now being recognized as a highly effective method of enhancing efficiency at work.
The practice of taking a nap is only just taking off in the UK but is already endorsed by a number of US-based giants including Apple, Nike, Google and Procter & Gamble, all stating that their workers are more proactive after a 30 minute power nap. And why shouldn’t they be? Studies have shown numerous benefits of napping including restored alertness, prevention of burnout, heightened sensory perception as well as a reduced risk of heart disease. Great news right!? Well kinda…
Ok, so you’ve been given the all clear by the boss to slip out for 40 winks but where do you go? The stationary cupboard? Your car? A park bench? The problem with grabbing a quality 30-minute nap during the day is finding a quality-napping environment. Enter The Nap Station.
